1. Using the service

These terms cover your use of FreeAppIcon’s website and browser-based icon generator. Please read them before using the service. If you do not agree with these terms, do not use the generator.

FreeAppIcon converts artwork you provide into icon files for supported iOS, Android, and web formats. The current generator is free to use and does not require an account or payment. You are responsible for having the authority to use the service, including any permission required if you act for another person or organization.

2. Your artwork and exports

You retain the rights you hold in your original artwork. FreeAppIcon does not claim ownership of your input or resulting icons. Processing your artwork does not transfer it to us or grant us permission to publish, sell, or use it for training.

You may use your exported icons in personal or commercial projects to the extent that you have the necessary rights to the source artwork. Conversion does not grant new copyright, trademark, or other rights in third-party material. Any existing license restrictions continue to apply.

Keep a copy of your source artwork and downloads. The generator does not provide an account, cloud backup, or recovery service.

3. Acceptable use

Use the service lawfully and respect other people’s rights. Do not:

• Use artwork without the permissions required for your intended use, or use exports to infringe copyright, trademarks, privacy, or other rights.
• Introduce malicious code, exploit vulnerabilities, or attempt unauthorized access to the website or its infrastructure.
• Interfere with the service’s operation or deliberately generate traffic that disrupts access for others.
• Misrepresent your connection to FreeAppIcon or any third-party platform.

4. Checking your exports

Previews and automated checks help prepare your icons; they do not guarantee compatibility, image quality, store acceptance, or compliance with every platform requirement. Platform specifications and tools may change.

Review the exported files, follow the included instructions, build your application, and check the results on your target devices before release. You are responsible for meeting the requirements that apply to your app and its store listing.

The current tool prepares existing artwork. It does not generate AI artwork, remove backgrounds, or create layered Icon Composer files or iOS dark and tinted variants. See the export guide for supported outputs and limitations.

5. Website and third-party rights

Using the generator does not transfer ownership of the website’s branding, design, or software. Separately licensed open-source components remain subject to their respective licenses.

Apple, Android, and other third-party names identify compatible platforms. FreeAppIcon is an independent tool and does not claim endorsement by those platform owners. External websites have their own terms and privacy practices.

6. Availability and changes

We may maintain, update, limit, or discontinue features. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or indefinite support for a particular export format. Access may be restricted where necessary to address abuse, security issues, or legal requirements.

The current version has no subscriptions or charges. If paid features are introduced, their price and applicable terms will be presented before a purchase; using this free generator does not authorize future charges.

7. Privacy

Read the Privacy Policy for details about local image processing, browser storage, website requests, and your choices. It explains how the service handles information.

8. Responsibility and your legal rights

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without a promise that it will meet every requirement or be free of errors. Keep backups and independently validate results before relying on them.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service, such as lost profits or business opportunities. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, or removes mandatory consumer protections or other rights you have under applicable law.

9. Updates to these terms

We may revise these terms to reflect changes to the service or applicable requirements. The date at the top identifies the latest revision. Material changes will be brought to users’ attention through the website, with any notice or agreement required by applicable law. Changes do not remove rights that have already arisen.
